Our Pre-Delivery Process: The Form and More
Cube Mobile Imaging understands that a mobile imaging rental is not a “plug-and-play”, one-size-fits-all scenario. Our comprehensive methodology ensures healthcare providers are fully prepared for the arrival and operation of mobile MRI/CT, and are set up for success in improving their daily throughput.
Facility Needs
The pre-delivery process begins with a thorough consultation to understand the facility’s specific needs:
- imaging specialization
- patient volume
- logistical requirement
A mobile imaging rental also requires precise power specifications and network connectivity. Cube Mobile Imaging collaborates with the facility’s administration and IT teams to confirm electrical compatibility, data integration, and system connectivity. This ensures that the facility and Cube Mobile Imaging are ready for delivery, and efficient with the time allotted for set-up.
Connectivity
A mobile MRI/CT’s scan data is transferred to the facility via Ethernet. Network specifications, provided by the facility’s IT or PACS Admin, are entered into our system and paired with the facility so it will transfer images to the facility for radiologists to access. Facility administration will also need to answer questions confirming power requirements, citing concerns, etc—all to ensure that the site is hospitable to a mobile imaging rental unit.
If the consultation indicates there may be incongruences with the facility, further investigation is conducted. Our team will walk through these incongruences with the facility administration, and work together to mitigate these ahead of delivery.
Mobile Imaging Rental Delivery
Logistics play a crucial role in the successful delivery. Our team coordinates delivery and set-up schedules to minimize disruption to daily operations. Additionally, if desired, Cube Mobile Imaging can also offer applications training for the mobile imaging rental unit’s onboard software so technologists can operate proficiently.
